Adult life is challenging. Many of us live surrounded by pressures, internal and external. Sometimes it gets hard to cope or our normal ways of coping no longer seem to work. Whether you are struggling with a difficult life circumstance, a relationship problem or with issues that have been hurting or bothering you for some time, I am here to help.
It is my goal to help you effect powerful, long-term change.
My psychotherapy practice focuses on healing emotional conflict within ourselves and in our relationships with others. During our work together, I will use a customized approach and provide a healing environment. I will help you find the wisdom in your emotions and develop communication and coping skills that will serve you throughout life.
I have lived, studied, and traveled around the world, and I speak English and Spanish fluently. I understand the unique and full range of human experience and aim to provide you with warm support, guidance and listening in a confidential environment. “I have worked with Ana Maria for the past three years. She counsels survivors of sexual and domestic violence and has many years of experience. Ana Maria is passionate about helping others and it clearly shows. When I refer clients to Ana Maria I have no doubts in my mind that she is going to help them because of her professionalism, amazing work ethic, patience, counseling skills, and most importantly her never-ending compassion. This is exemplified by all the great comments clients tell me about her. Additionally, Ana Maria is not only a great counselor; she is also a wonderful colleague. She has offered me support and training over these past few years with her wealth of knowledge. ”
